This Mission style residence is owned by an accomplished television writer. Our client was looking to have a fully designed transitional space where she could relax and unwind after long hours at work. We came into a space furnished with a medley of items collected over the years. Our goal was to take the client’s eclectic funky tastes and meld them into a cohesive, sophisticated and personalized living space. Our scope included furniture, fabric, lighting, and accessories for the entry, living room, dining room, and family room. We were also able to have fun with paint and color on this project. Various walls and fabrics were selected in warm and vibrant colors such as fuchsia, buttercup yellow, and lavender. All furniture pieces are high end as well as a custom coffee table and dining buffet designed by VHD. The end product is a fun yet elegant and sophisticated space with all the comforts of home.
