About the Project
We updated this kitchen by first replacing the rustic, knotted pine cabinets with more refined, warm brown cherry wood cabinets. A mosaic of glass tile in shades of nature-inspired green and tan along with the unique, deep green marble countertops simultaneously tie back to the existing slate tile flooring and introduce a hint of gloss and contrasting color. Each of these details enriched the overall palette and finishes of the kitchen while keeping it warm and appropriate to the transitional, rustic character of the rest of the home.
