Danielle Yip began her design career with Velvet as an intern in 2002. Upon receiving her degree, she returned to Santa Monica to join the team full-time.

Danielle is now a senior designer and integral part of the firm. She prides herself on her creative eye and technical expertise coupled with the utmost professionalism. Her designs reflect her philosophy of honoring her clients’ functional requirements and innate aesthetic sensibilities, and incorporating them into a cohesively designed space. She has built a reputation among her clients for her relentless attention to detail, reliability, and clear communication throughout each step of the design process. Danielle has established a style that produces clean, sophisticated, and comfortable interiors.

Danielle is a graduate of Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in Design and Environmental Analysis, Interior Design Concentration. She also holds NCIDQ Certificate No. 02278.

Aviva Fersht is a senior designer at the firm and has become an integral part of the team since joining in early 2006. Her clients appreciate her excellent customer service and personalized attention. She quickly identifies with their style and needs and formulates them into designs that are aesthetically and functionally successful. She loves to play with pattern, color, and textural design elements to create visually compelling yet cohesive interiors. Her goal is to create environments that are comfortable, functional and simply beautiful, which ultimately results in an improvement in her clients’ daily lives.

Aviva is a Cum Laude graduate of The Fashion Institute of Technology, New York City, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design.
